The University of North Bengal has set up it’s another campus at the district of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal which is 49 KM distance from the main campus of the University. The NBU library, Jalpaiguri Campus is playing an important role in sharing knowledge with users based on the need for information.
The library contains the following facilities and services:
- The library consists of the reference room and reading room, stack rooms, Circulation Counter, Property Counter, etc.
- The library has a seating capacity of 40 library users.
- The library has a collection of 5714 books for four subjects (English, Bengali, Geography & Applied Geography and Sanskrit), as well as general books, journals and popular magazines.
- This library provides reference services, books borrowing facilities, reprographic services, etc.
- There are 200 library members, including students, teachers, and research scholars.
- The library provides internet browsing facilities to access e-resources online journals/databases, theses etc.
