Demonstration programme on 'REAXYS' database of Elsevier Publishers, 5th April 2022
The University Library, University of North Bengal, carried out a Demonstration programme on the 'REAXYS' database of Elsevier at the Auditorium (Gallery) of the Department of Chemistry on 5th April 2022 from 2-00 p.m. Dr. Mandar Bodas, Solution Consultant at Elsevier, was the pivotal resource person for the programme. He gave everyone an overview of the database and then demonstrated how to use the application for research purposes. The session was designed to be fairly interactive.
The event did draw 85 participants from the University of North Bengal's Science Department, including Teachers, Research Scholars, and PG Students. Prof. Pranab Ghosh, Registrar of NBU, expressed profound thanks to Elsevier for choosing to organise such a flourishing demonstration programme of Reaxys' database in the university, and he hopes that faculty members/research scholars/students will benefit greatly from such a programme.
